October 21st, 2021 is the 21st annual Child Care Worker & Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day. This year we will be celebrating our Early Learning and Child Care Heroes and calling on the government to say yes to our Roadmap to Universal Child Care in Ontario which sets out our vision and our shared path forward for Ontario child care.

Sponsored by Ontario’s labour movement, the day draws attention to the value of ECEs and child care workers in communities. It is also a great opportunity to call for better wages, working conditions and support for these workers.
