5th Annual Our Journey Together Gathering: Enhancing Our Knowledge, Culture and Traditions (in person event)
Dates: Wednesday, Feb 26 & Thursday, Feb 27, 2025 Location: 563 Oliver Road, Oliver Road Community Centre, Thunder Bay, ON. Times: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm daily
Important information you need to know when registering for this event.
Registration includes: Both days: morning light refreshments, 2 nutrition breaks, and lunch. Optional Evening Program Tour (Feb 25) with light snacks.
Registration Fee: $275.00 per person (non-refundable)
Optional: DIY Craft Night (Feb 26) for a fee of $15.00 per person. Includes light meal and craft materials/tools. Pre-registration is required. (see registration form)
Takeaways: Participants are invited to share a resource (or two) to add to the Welcome folder. We will do the printing for you! Send documents to iplo@fireflynw.ca for printing. A few ideas – songs or fingerplays translated into the language of your choice, book reviews, recipes for creative materials or from the kitchen, games and challenges for children and families, etc. The ideas are endless!
Travel: You are responsible to make your own travel arrangements to the City of Thunder Bay and daily travel to the Oliver Road Community Center. We suggest you do this as soon as possible so you can travel in the way you prefer.
Accommodations: You are responsible for booking and paying for your own room. You are required to show personal identification at check in. Hotels require a credit card to be kept on file for the length of stay. Hotels pre-authorizes one night room cost as a security deposit. If you do not have a credit card you will need to inquire about third party payment when you are booking.
