Cultural Make & Take – Baby Moccasins
Creation of the Ojibway Moccasin: Chochi will share teachings for a healthy pregnancy and lead us through the making of baby moccasins. We will explore the Anishinaabe traditional teachings of prenatal care and the importance of family and community. Baby moccasin kits supplied and mailed out to registered participants prior to the session. Chochi Knott is an Anishinaabe Kwe from Curve Lake First Nation (Oshkiigamong), she is Bear Clan.
Educators working in on reserve child care & child and family programs are invited to register. Hosted by the Indigenous Professional Learning Opportunities Program.
